Film, emlak sahiplerini işi yokuşa süren kiracılar yada evleri işgal eden evsizler gibi kişilerden yasa dışı yollara kurtulmalarını sağlayan bir grubun içinde yer alan Thomas Seyr’in hikayesini anlatıyor.

Thomas bu işleri yaparken, eski bir piyanist olan annesinin menajeriyle karşılaşır. Menajerin demo teklifini düşünmeye başlar. Bu arada babasının ufak tefek işlerini de yoluna koymaktadır. Babası, bu kez sert kayaya vurmuş ve rus mafyasıyla karşı karşıya gelmiştir. Thomas, babasını bu işin içinden çekip çıkarmaya çalışırken kendini yasak bir ilişkinin içinde bulacak ve demoya hazırlanmak için piyano dersleri alacaktır.

Film ara ara sürükleyiciliğini kaybetse de konusu merak uyandırmaktadır. Finali ise kendisinden daha güzeldir. Müzikal yada müzikle filmin bölündüğü filmleri sevmeyenleri yer yer sıkabilir. Onun dışında fazla aksiyon beklemeyen kişiler izleyebilir. Müstehcen sahneler vardır. (Mubi)
